ShelfGenie, the national leader in the custom storage solutions industry, is seeking talented Design Consultants to deliver outstanding in-home presentations to our clients. Being a ShelfGenie Design Consultant means you're selling a nationally recognized home improvement brand while running your own local business. With ShelfGenie, you are in business for yourself but not by yourself. ShelfGenie has opportunities to work with local Franchise owners or in ShelfGenie corporate markets. We schedule sales appointments for Designers who have completed our training. You also have the opportunity to offer ShelfGenie Solutions to your network or existing customer base.
ShelfGenie provides mentoring, training and support every step of the way beginning with ShelfGenie University, our online learning management system, that includes four interactive training modules and six Role Playing Videos. The company leverages the most advanced digital tools – the Internet, social media and mobile technology – enhancing your experience working with the client and our Business Support Center. Completing ShelfGenie University may even qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in the areas of Interior Design Professional, Organizer and other professions as well.

We are seeking insured and licensed* home improvement contractors who are both talented craftsmen and exceptional business operators. Our Installation Partner Program is a business opportunity ideal for independent handymen, closet installers, remodelers, or those seeking a way to supplement their business with additional work.
We get the sales and assign the installations to you. You schedule your installation directly with the client based on your available calendar. We need broad coverage in our markets and usually partner with several contractors in a market for convenience of location and access to the clients. The time commitment can range from 5-20 hours a week (or more) – you share with us how much and how often you are available for ShelfGenie projects.
Installation Partners are our "customer service ambassadors" as they spend the most time with clients and see immediate client satisfaction as they complete each Glide-Out™ installation. We only work with the best and invest in them immediately.
To that end, we begin our relationship with a mandatory three-day Installer Certification Class in Atlanta, GA. Our sole objective is to train every partner in our proven methodology and systems to ensure mutual success. Our best Installation Partner candidates are contractors who work with ShelfGenie supplementing their overall business and understand how their service for ShelfGenie offers them the chance to work in the homes of people who are in Do-it-for-me (DIFM) clients. Installation Partners are often Design Consultants as well, diversifying their earnings potential.
