I have spent 30 years working as an engineer, a scientist and a project manager for a Fortune 500 company. I liked my job, but as for many folks these days, companies downsize, which is what happened to me, and my long careers came to a halt. I have always had a dream of owning a business.  When the ShelfGenie opportunity was presented to me, after in depth evaluation and soul searching I decided that this was the business for me.  As an engineer, I was impressed with the ShelfGenie’s Glide-Out product quality and its construction. Over the past 25 years, Maria has been a pre-school/grade school teacher, day care provider, Sunday school director, bookstore manager and an administrative assistant for her husband, a clothing designer. Plus, she is a mom of three. She loves helping anyone who needs more organization in their lives.
