Born and raised in San Antonio, Allison learned the value of comfort and quality in a home from her father who was in the insulation business. She went on to attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a degree in Finance, and then went into a career in marketing and advertising. After marrying her husband Michael, they moved back to San Antonio where they have lived, worked and most importantly raised their two daughters who are their pride and joy. When introduced to ShelfGenie, Allison was thrilled to go back to her roots working with homeowners and helping them with custom solutions that make their life more enjoyable. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on her children at their events, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Cindy Berkman began her journey with ShelfGenie of Greater Houston in early 2022, quickly making her mark by designing innovative glide-out solutions for hundreds of clients across the Houston metro area. Recently, she relocated to the scenic Texas Hill Country and joined the ShelfGenie Austin team, where she continues to bring her expertise and passion for organization to new clients. Before joining ShelfGenie, Cindy built a diverse career in Houston’s oil and gas industry. Most recently, she served as Associate Director for BP’s corporate foundation, where she honed her leadership and project management skills. A natural organizer, Cindy thrives on finding creative solutions for even the most challenging spaces. She is at her best when helping others—making ShelfGenie the perfect place for her talents to shine. Cindy lives in the Texas Hill Country with her husband. She stays active by playing Padel and Pickleball and enjoys giving back to her community through volunteering. -
Melinda Kasper

Melinda has always been a creative person but her past hasn't exactly reflected that. She attended Southwest Texas State then SMU and afterwards, she joined the corporate world while raising her 3 daughters. As they got older, she decided it was time for a career change that would put her back in touch with her creative side and also have a positive impact on people's day-to-day lives. She grew up in a military family that instilled the importance of organization and efficiency within the home. The knowledge she gained growing up in that environment led her to start a home organization business to help others. ShelfGenie and organization go hand in hand so it was a natural fit for her to become a designer. She moved from Wimberley to Austin in 2023 and enjoys painting, hiking, playing tennis and spending time with family and friends. -

For the past six years, he’s devoted himself to mastering the art and science of woodworking, transforming raw lumber into functional, beautiful pieces that stand the test of time. His workshop is where creativity meets precision, and each project—no matter how big or small—reflects his commitment to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
