We had an excellent experience with ShelfGenie of Lexington. We had no knowledge of this company or what they offered prior to receiving an email advertisement. The ad was well timed as we were just discussing our frustration with the limited cabinet storage in our small kitchen and having no pantry. Having had a good experience with other Neighborly affiliates, we decided to see what ShelfGenie had to offer and whether they could help us, and boy are we glad we did. Our first visit was an assessment. Our representative was very professional, efficient and thorough. She took some measurements and we were some given visuals to look at, options, and an estimate/quote. All this in one visit, no pressure, no gimmicks. We were soon afterwards provided a detailed quote with graphics by email. Again all very professional. Upon deciding to proceed, the ShelfGenie installer came out to take detailed measurements, explained what to expect during the install process. After completing the CAD design, he placed the order for shelving custom made for our cabinet spaces. The order was ready in a few weeks (3 weeks sooner than expected). The installer promptly notified us and set a time for installation. On the day of installation, he arrived on time, completed the job in half a day as estimated, and was very considerate with our home. With the cabinet doors closed, there was not a trace that he had been there at all. No dirt, dust, nothing. The shelving construction and quality of installation were absolutely top notch. Every detail is as described and quoted. The only surprise is the superb craftsmanship. We have now reloaded our cabinets and have room to spare. We can't help but have a small celebration each time we reach into a cabinet to get something by just pulling out a quiet tower or drawer instead of getting down on hands and knees or up on a stool and having to unload stuff to get to the back. Given what I have written, you can assume our project was not "cheap". We regarded this endeavor as a less expensive alternative to a major remodel of our kitchen (which we would probably never do), but certainly a positive and worthwhile investment in our home nonetheless. We would recommend ShelfGenie to our friends and family.

Great experience! From our initial meeting with the designer, to the text updates through the fabrication process, to our installer, the entire experience with Shelf Genie was terrific. The product was an investment but one that will make our kitchen much, much more accessible as we age. Definitely a worthwhile investment!
