What a fantastic product. ShelfGenie doubled the amount of space in our cabinets and pantry! Honestly the best home improvement product we've ever purchased. We moved into a home with half the square footage of our previous home. We needed to make the most of our modest kitchen. Glad we found ShelfGenie online. From the very beginning we got wonderful customer service. Had a terrific experience with their sales analyst and the installation was professional, complete and flawless. Kim came into my home and measured everything and interviewed me about our kitchen and our cooking styles. Then she proposed some wonderful pull out drawers for every aspect, including some I'd never heard of! An over-the-fridge pull out shelf now holds breakfast cereals. The cabinet next to it now has vertical dividers to hold baking sheets, racks and muffin tins. Kim worked miracles on drawers for pots and pans, so these cabinets now have a second layer and the pullout shelves make it so easy to see everything. She even proposed a pull out drawer to hold oils, vinegars and tall bottles with a short glide out shelf on top for spices, solving two problems at once. But the biggest miracle was how Kim showed us how to turn our dark narrow pantry into a storage workhorse. At the pantry floor bottom I now have a glide out that keeps garbage and recycle cans hidden when not in use. Three glide out shelves completely organize our food storage and doubles our usable pantry space. Above that they could have left our ugly original plywood shelves up top but instead they built in custom shelves made of the same beautiful ShelfGenie wood. The pantry showcases a novel solution to a unique problem. Onto the installation! ShelfGenie sent Bob who is such a skilled carpenter and installation expert. He communicated regularly and was 100% professional in all aspects. Bob worked independently in our kitchen for five hours without requiring any assistance or intervention from us. Without skipping a beat he addressed a few "old-house concerns" that might have stumped an ordinary handyman Finally - the glide outs themselves. They are beautiful, we went with the lightest wood and they are strong but surprisingly light. The ShelfGenies are superbly crafted with dovetailed corners and tight seams, and a stain resistant wood finish. We have really loaded the shelves up and they glide out straight and smooth, holding up under pressure. The glide outs we selected have a lifetime warranty, with the option to transfer that warranty one time. Honestly the entire process from beginning to end was flawless and we are obsessed with the end product. It's made our kitchen an absolute joy to cook in! So glad we chose ShelfGenie.
