From design to installation my expectations were exceeded. I highly recommend connecting to a Shelf Genie consultant as soon as you can. You won’t be disappointed!

We just had finished a remodel of our kitchen, but the storage wasn’t working for me, so I contacted Shelf Genie. Loved working with your designer, Beth. She took the time to listen to my needs and then looked at my space, the things I was trying to organize and came up with great solutions. She was very upfront with the time it was going to take to build the custom units and have them installed. The installer, Simon, came out and took measurements. He noticed some issues with a mixer lift that was installed by my contractor and offer to fix it. On the day of installation, he communicated to let me know he was running late via text as the install he was doing prior to mine was taking longer than expected. He then called to let me know he was on his way and his eta. During the installation he used a floor cover to protect my wood floors from his tools and supplies. He did an awesome job of cleaning up , making sure to get all the dust that was created from drilling he had to do. I needed to leave prior to him finishing and when I got home my husband said to make sure I give him an excellent review as he went over and beyond by using the shelving we took out and repurposed it for other cabinets in our home. I would definitely recommend Shelf Genie of Seattle to my friends.

We had an excellent experience with ShelfGenie, especially with Monica, our designer and point of contact, and Nate, who handled the installation. Monica was wonderful to work with. She took the time to understand not just what we wanted, but how we actually use our pantry and kitchen. She helped me work through some of my very specific and quirky requirements — like making room for my wire baskets for storing potatoes and onions, and figuring out how to accommodate my large tortilla-making equipment, which needed special consideration in the pantry shelving. She also came up with creative solutions I hadn’t thought of myself, including a drawer in the otherwise unused top section under my stove. Her design process was collaborative and thoughtful, and it helped me discover and refine requirements I hadn’t fully articulated. The amount of time and genuine interest she put into understanding our needs was a big part of what sold us on ShelfGenie. Nate was equally thoughtful during installation. I was unsure about a spice rack I had originally planned to replace, so he had me test the bottles in it before installing it. When I realized it didn’t work for how I use my spices, they were completely non-fussy about removing it and adjusting the quote. It was a great example of how focused they were on getting the final result right for us, rather than simply completing the original plan. The shelves are high quality, the installation was timely, and everything was delivered as promised. Communication was excellent, and both Monica and Nate were pleasant and flexible throughout the process. One small area for improvement would be giving customers a more granular ETA once the units are in manufacturing. There was a period when I couldn’t tell exactly when production would be finished or when installation would happen. This was a backend/system limitation rather than an issue with Monica or Nate, and thankfully everything ultimately stayed on schedule. Overall, we are very happy with ShelfGenie and especially grateful to Monica and Nate for making the entire process such a positive experience. I would happily recommend them.

I am so happy with my Shelf Genie shelves. Barbara guided me through the design process. She asked lots of questions and reviewed my current pantry set up. She suggested possible solutions and helped me find a solution mindful of cost. Nate installed my new shelves - he was right on time and completed the project earlier than expected. He was professional, personable and very skilled. I appreciated the care he took in my kitchen and his offer to return if any adjustments are needed.
